Tuesday, 24 February 2009. SOS first group event. Suffer on Saddles entered and completed their first official group training ride in Evesham on Sunday 22nd February. The reliability ride was organised by the Evesham Wheelers cycling club. This was a very well organised event and thoroughly enjoyed by all three of us. Wednesday, 11 February 2009. 3 men . one challenge . lots of pain! Welcome to the suffer-on-saddles blog. We are 3 amateur cyclists, raising money for charity by doing (some may describe as stupid) challenges on our bikes. The challenge may not be difficult to the "hardcore" cycling fraternity but it will be hard for us and something we've never done before. Tuesday, 3 March 2009. Our customised sufferonsaddles cycling shirts arrived last week. In order to reduce costs, we opted for plain cycle shirts with our logo and banner printed on them. The supply of the shirts and printing were provided by Cycle-clothing.co.uk. And we are delighted with the outcome. The shirts are modelled by us (left to right: Eugene, Ian and Mark). The shirts were modelled at the Madmarchhares. Sportive by Mark and Eugene. A report on the event will be made shortly.
