*: Luxe Necklaces
http://thelolacollection.blogspot.com/2008/02/luxe-necklaces.html
Monday, February 18, 2008. Here is a small sampling of what I've been working on lately. With the spring / summer show season right around the corner, I've been striving to create some new pieces that are innovative, yet sophisticated. These necklaces feature my signature pendants but with a twist; a cascade of crystal and semi precious beads. I love them! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Lola Collection on Flickr. Independence Day Photo Essay. July 5, 2007. Mick and I spent our Fourth at Dodger Stadium, we had a great time! Originally we thought our seats were in the nose-bleed section, but it turned out that we had really great seats in between the Dodger dugout and the foul ball pole. Everyone sitting in the outfield for the fireworks show had their cell phones out recording the action:. I shipped out my first Etsy order! July 5, 2007. A few days ago, I made my first Etsy sale. *: New School Polymer Clay (continued...)
http://thelolacollection.blogspot.com/2008/02/new-school-polymer-clay-continued.html
Thursday, February 28, 2008. New School Polymer Clay (continued.). Another one of my favorite shops on Etsy and an artist doing amazing things with polymer clay is Jessicajane. I don't recall exactly how I happened upon her shop, but I was smitten from first glance. I must have a thing for faux bois wood (must have been all that paneling in my childhood home hehehe) because I just can't get enough of her tree stump pendants. And in staying with the outdoorsy theme, her bird charms are the sweetest.

*: Glass
http://thelolacollection.blogspot.com/2008/03/glass.html
Thursday, March 20, 2008. When I was a child, I remember watching a Discovery Channel documentary on Dale Chihuly. And becoming enamored with glass and glass blowing. Many years later, I am still obsessed. My newest glass obsession is Boro, or Borosilicate. Most of us use boro glass in our everyday lives as Pyrex but many glass artists use this glass to create stunning works of art. One such artist is LLuvia Brito who’s Etsy shop, uvanamos. I recently discovered and feel head over heals for.

Sunday, July 29, 2007. He whines, he DINES.(story of back pain ). Hubby has hurt his back. I'm gonna go nuts. Now, keep in mind that I did physical therapy for years for a chiropractor, so I'm not exactly useless in helping his pain, but he is keeping his pain as a pet, stroking it, loving it, hoarding it.and won't let me touch him.Said it "made him nauseous " for anyone to touch his back. I worked on that spot a while, then applied as ice pack and told him to lie there and be still. Go AWAY, cat! So, in...
