I was reminded yesterday why it has always been important for me to stick with those rules. I won't make that mistake again. So as a reminder to myself. 1 Don't EVER get your hopes up. 2 Don't bother feeling happy, as that just makes the inevitable slap in the face that much harder. 3 Accept that existence is the best you can hope for.
