As the Spool Turns. A Spin-Off of Little Oak Pattern Company. Monday, April 18, 2011. How wonderful it is to be able to work from home. I've been busy designing a project for our TopStitchers Club. It's a pin cushion and thread catcher all in one. The project features delicate machine appliqued spring flowers on a classic, machine quilted, hanging diamond background. The thread catcher is large enough to hold clippings from an entire quilt top. How do I know this? Here's a picture of a portion of the top.
