The view from the bottom of the Eiffel Tower last fall. I've been seeing lists all over people's blogs and I really love the idea. Some are birthday-related, like hula seventy's fantastic one. And then there is the grand Life List. That Karen of Chookooloonks put together. Inspired by their lists, and others. I decided to just do it for myself - I'm excited! I may add to the list, or change what I've listed, but I will definitely be crossing out stuff as I try, do, or complete them! Get a massage (or two).

The Cutest Mouse Ever! This past weekend Rachel was radiant as a Princess Mouse in her ballet school's production of The Princess and the Pea. She had three performances in two days, and did just beautifully - never tiring or complaining, even though there was a lot of waiting around and it went late into the evening. The Summer of Adventure Hawaii Style. Well, we made it! Our school year ended with all sorts of fun and activity, including non-stop fieldtrips, a talent show that Rachel participated in (she jumped rope up to 100! Merry Christmas, friends! I'm writing to you from a genuine winter wonderland. In the middle of Oregon. There is snow on the ground, we've been sledding, had tea and hot chocolate for days, and had an explosion of present opening today! It was awesome. We still have to make a snowman, take naps, decorate some cookies, and make a big old meal tonight (salmon - so Northwest! And hoping you're getting everything you want too!
