Welcome to MY world! Wednesday, June 25, 2014. We spotted this sweet mamma on a recent canoe trip in the Kawarthas. Instead of swimming away or ducking under the water, as they usually do, this pair swam toward us. The female sat high in the water. They allowed us to get incredibly close, so close that we could see a little grey chick hanging on. So close that we could hear the peeps of other chicks sheltering under her wings. Welcome to MY world! Monday, July 6, 2015. One of our favourite non-nature outings of the trip was going to Dunedin for a Blue Jays Spring training game. We headed to Florida Auto Exchange Park and took in a game on a very hot day. Super memorable and good to see the Jays again! Andwe saw Greg Zaun and Jamie Campbell from Sportsnet.
