So here are my favorite and least favorite movies of 2008. For the first time ever I had a hard time limiting my favorites to 10 so it was a good year for movies. FAVORITE MOVIES OF 2008. Like Cancun, but with more keg stands. Wednesday, December 10, 2008. After plowing through all 5 seasons over a couple months, we finished The Wire. Last night. And while it's almost cliche now to say it, it's the best show on TV. Maybe best of all, the ending was totally satisfying, and worthy of all the great arcs and story lines leading up to it. This year it took me infinitely longer to post these lists because I really wanted to see all of the buzz-worthy movies before I put in my two cents. I think I did pretty damn well because I'm really only missing The Blood Diamond. I actually thought this was a decent year for movies. Not great but not as bad as last year.
