Karna, Arne, Elsa and Liam. Sunday, November 30, 2014. November was a wonderful month spent at home, enjoying family and friends who visited from near and far. Liam continues to grow bigger and bigger and continues to enjoy playing on the phone, which is anything he can hold up to his ear. Like Elsa before him, Liam also liked playing phone in Daddy's office. She contends to love to dress up and just be silly. They do so much together now, from mimicking each other eating,. Karna, Arne, Elsa and Liam. Wednesday, July 22, 2015. We are so excited to now have a 5 year old! She is 44 inches tall and 41.5 pounds of wonderful girl. The night before she turned 5, we made the cake. Now Elsa does not like chocolate, but she does like colors, so the cake was 4 layers of color, blue, pink, green and yellow. Elsa also does not like frosting, so the cake had very little frosting, and most of the frosting was used to create a picture of her. Once at the Piñata it was time to break it ope...

Karna, Arne, Elsa and Liam. Sunday, May 31, 2015. On Friday, Elsa's pre-school had a "graduation" ceremony for the children that will be leaving for kindergarten in the fall. We watched as all 10 graduates walked into the hall. The graduates performed songs such as the "Itsy-Bitsy Spider" and "The More We Get Together, the Happier We'll Be". Finally, Elsa's name was called and she got her diploma. After that it was dinner and play time. Liam had a lot of fun at the event too! Hooray for the class of 2015!

Karna, Arne, Elsa and Liam. Monday, February 09, 2015. Weekend fun in the Rain. Arne loves his new camera and had great fun taking pictures of the kids having fun this weekend. Liam got to play in the sandbox during a break from the rain. Arne got to play with his prime f1.2 lens. And then play with sepia settings. It was raining a lot, so we headed out in raincoats, boots, and pajamas. Each kid carried their own roll of Ritz crackers. We went to the Hiller Aviation Museum. Climbed the stairs in the 747.

Karna, Arne, Elsa and Liam. Monday, June 30, 2014. June is for the Boys! June was a great month with Father's Day and then Liam turning 18 months. Our big boy is now 34 inches long and 26.7 pounds. He just gets bigger and bigger and is loving everything, especially spatulas. He prefers large forks that look like tridents in his small hands. Spatulas are safer. He also loves to garden. And play the piano. For Father's Day we went to Happy Hollow and Liam got to drive a car. Liam loved the ice cream.

Karna, Arne, Elsa and Liam. Sunday, August 31, 2014. End of Summer Fun. August was a great month of local fun for the family. The highlight of the month for me was cutting Elsa's hair for the first time. We had two trips to Gilroy Gardens to check out and enjoy old favorite rides, like the duck boats, and also enjoy the new water play park. Arne's Oasis Volleyball team continues to be fun. Elsa also came up with a new dance she called the shadow dance, that her imaginary friends Hala and Sala taught her.

Karna, Arne, Elsa and Liam. Friday, October 31, 2014. Elsa and Liam started out Halloween morning as a beautiful princess and a scary pirate! Our pumpkin family just made it to Halloween. Elsa called them Daddy pumpkin with two mommy pumpkins and a lot of baby pumpkins. They were a good family. For trick or treating, Elsa dressed up as Belle and Liam addressed up as a puppy dog. It was fun to take them out on the town. We saw a giant pumpkin at the Halloween maze at one of the neighborhood properties.

Karna, Arne, Elsa and Liam. Sunday, June 21, 2015. It's been two years since our last trip to Hawaii. This time we went to Maui. The hotel had a fantastic pool and was right on the beach. We spent a lot of time playing in the water and the sand. I bought an inexpensive waterproof camera for the trip. It worked well. We did a five hour snorkeling cruise on the Hula Girl catamaran. We were really lucky to come across a pod of dolphins. Sunsets were beautiful and time for me to take pictures.
