Whenever I can I love turning people sideways and using the light for silhouette. All you need is a dark room and a lighted background. Shoot at a large aperture such as f 2.8. That will throw the back ground out of focus. Even under a tree and a bright background will create interesting photos. Always make sure the background lines don’t create interference with the face. You want clean shape of light and dark. Remember the less photoshoping you do is better. Why?
