K-Line: Fancy!
http://line4line.blogspot.com/2015/07/fancy.html
Wednesday, July 29, 2015. My new labels just arrived and they're ALL THAT! So shiny, stable and water/oil resistant. Can't wait to apply them to many bottles and jars in the future. I do have some new products in the works that will have to wait till the next cycle before they get their own fanciness, but one must be slow and steady. July 30, 2015 at 11:26 PM. August 1, 2015 at 9:16 AM. So glad youre enjoying them Marie! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Follow this blog with bloglovin. Post 8: Pattern...

Canuck Canuck: February 2009
http://canuckcanuck.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Oh Canada. We stand on guard for thee. Wednesday, February 25, 2009. There are only so many Canadian design icons that are easily identified upon first glance. Some of them are original (the Mountie, Tim Hortons coffee), while others are inspired by the land of a winter that lasts six months. A side project of Stephen Lindsay, urbanproduct is a Toronto-based firm that transforms and re-purposes everyday objects for the home including living, bedroom and kitchen. Friday, February 6, 2009. K-Line: October 2014
http://line4line.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 31, 2014. Yoga for Pain Management. Here's the deal peeps: The chronic pain bullshit continues. I don't know why I'm all flippy about it right now. It's nothing new. But managing pain takes so much fucking will. There's no pill to fix it. Rather, there's a pill and a potion and supplements and body work and the mindful application heat and cold and exercise and (potentially) diet. Most of all, though, it's about fortitude. This is actually a relevant segue to a topic I've been meaning to ...

K-Line: November 2014

Tuesday, November 25, 2014. This Thing is a Perfect Holiday Gift*. A work friend is obsessed with tea. I get that; I'm obsessed with lots of things. My kid, also, is utterly nuts for the stuff - particularly all of the crazy (and many hideous, truth be told) flavours available at David's. Every heard of Birthday Tea? Seriously, sparkles and tea should not mix.) My mother loves matcha and other varietals, particularly the hardcore, antioxidant ones. It's called the Steeper. Links to this post. I sure as h...

K-Line: Bra Review: Freya Rio
http://line4line.blogspot.com/2015/08/bra-review-freya-rio.html
Saturday, August 8, 2015. Bra Review: Freya Rio. OK, where were we? I last reviewed the Cleo Lucy. A sad shape mismatch. After realizing I was yet another option down, I got a bit flippy. To recap very briefly, I've tried NUMEROUS black or blackesque bras, in an effort to replace my absolute faves - the Empreinte Roxane. And the Empreinte Lola. In the last year, I've tried on and/or purchased (and been underwhelmed by the fit of, on my body):. Masquerade Persia (cups too tall). Great lift, forward shape.

K-Line: May 2015
http://line4line.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 31, 2015. This morning, I got up and had a shower. I washed my hair with my own handmade shampoo. I washed my face with my new, self-created facial cleanser. When I was finished, I dried myself off halfway and applied Body Oil A. Lord, I love this stuff). I rolled on a bit of my own deodorant. I toned my face with neroli hydrosol. Spritzed a bit into my Serum B. And gently applied it. Finally, I used a smidge of Eye Balm A. Wait till I talk this up) and finished it up with my lip balm. Let's ...

K-Line: April 2015

Tuesday, April 28, 2015. Curio (Potions for Skeptics): Serum A. One of the more awesome things about being "hands-on creative" is the practical upside. A propos of this, Serum A. Was conceived on my way home from a lovely TO boutique (Cure Apothecary), after having just spent a mini-fortune on a restock of my fave face products. I don't know why it took me so long to finally say: I can make face serum. What I can tell you is that, the minute I made that decision, I knew I wouldn't stop there. While I loa...

K-Line: Quick Fix (Not)
http://line4line.blogspot.com/2015/07/quick-fix-not.html
Tuesday, July 28, 2015. The key was taking the time to consider my options (including some trial and error) followed by documenting my work plan and instructions to take me from knitting horror to knitting fixed. In case you're curious, I've uploaded the document here. Updated with sharable link). Yeah, it's crazy, but I find if I "talk to myself in writing", I can figure out just about anything. PS: Here's hoping we hear no more of this project till there's a pretty finished photo of it to share. Post 9...

K-Line: Torn Up
http://line4line.blogspot.com/2015/08/torn-up.html
Saturday, August 1, 2015. So, I gardened for an hour and a half (btw, didn't even touch the backyard) and, on my way to return the tools to the shed, I managed to pull my calf? So, I've decided to content myself with a bottle of Rioja, a glass of iced tea and some brie with gluten-free crackers (they actually don't taste offensive). And the newly corrected cowl-neck sweater. The sun is shining and I have the house to myself. It could be worse. August 1, 2015 at 4:35 PM. August 1, 2015 at 8:04 PM. A colle...
