Mary's Stone Lab Blog. Thursday, July 9, 2009. Today we had lecture in the morning and then in the afternoon. We got our quizzes back (good grades! And then we had another lab to do. Later we drove "little red" an underwater device that allows you to explore the lake with an underwater camera and a joystick. It was amazing how clear the images were on live camera! Mary's Stone Lab Blog. Sunday, July 5, 2009. First Day at Stone Lab. Today was my first day at Stone Lab taking a week-long course of Oceanography. My family's summer cottage is on Middle Bass, so I took the Sonny S boat to the boardwalk, and my dad and I walked to the check in on Bayview Avenue. We had our first quiz in the morning (which I studied a lot for, so hopefully I did well), then we went on a field trip to Kelley's Islan.
