Saturday, October 4, 2008. Football, Friends, Food. After 2 very lazy boring days with no school, today was nicely busy with many friends. First, my awesome family let me sleep in until 10 something. One of the girls had a friend stay over and because my window was open all night to listen to the rain, I awoke to the joyful sounds of 7 kids laughing and playing on the trampoline outside my window. MUSIC to my ears - they were all laughing and no arguing - AMAZING! Sounds like you had a busy, busy day!

But I often don't even remember what I've read because it's usually REALLY late at night and for some reason my retention rate is lacking at 2 am. Hmmmmm. I wonder why? Wednesday, October 1, 2008. Sweet, caring, loving NATHAN. My 9 year old that is growing up before our eyes! He LOVES playing flag football (GO UPWARDS! Soccer, basketball, baseball. He does well in school and has the 2 best friends anyone could ever ask for! Larissa and Matt did not, but they are fine with that. They (and Leah) will soon be heavily involved with "A Christmas Carol" a city production musical that will have 9 performances, very soon. Anyway, WAY TO GO NATHAN for stepping out and trying!

Sunday, October 26, 2008. Weekend Update with . Who was that Saturday Night Live guy? Oh yeah - Kevin Nealin or somthing like that. Well, this is BUSACK Weekend Update. Friday was our schools big Fall Festival. It went really well. M danced in her first performance and did really well - she is gifted. It was a long/tiring evening, but good. I collected and counted money all night and the kids had fun playing. Dinner, games, fun, prizes, friends etc - all for FREE - my kinda party! Sunday, October 19, 2008.

Wednesday, October 1, 2008. SHOES - Glorious Shoes! Who can beat $10 shoes and purses and Under $10 jewelry? Even I can afford that, once in a while anyway. I had the pleasure of attending a NEW type of home party the other night, thanks to my friend Tara. No presentation, no pressure - just stop by shop, eat and GO! How fun is that? Wednesday, May 30, 2007. It has been awhile since I've posted because our family has been on vacation. : ) My father-in-law generously gave us the use of his timeshare this last week and we enjoyed a week of relaxation and fun in the mountains of Idaho. It was so peaceful. Thank you Joe and Nancy! I've actually had a difficult time readjusting to real life.
