My computer has been out of commission for a while, but once I get it back, and start feeling better, and get through my midterms (2 down, 5 to go), and stop picking up extra work hours for sick people, I will upload pictures and do an update post or two. Some happy news: I, who never win anything, won $25 to the bookstore! Any suggestions on how I should spend it? I'm tempted to clean out the fudge counter (kidding, totally kidding). One thing we have tried to set out to do here in Iowa is check out some of the small town festivals every now and then. This summer it was Watermelon Day in Stanhope, IA. We couldn't resist fun and LOTS of free watermelon - all you can eat! Rosy, watermelon cheeks! And 50 cent tickets for the rides. Where else can you get a deal like that?
