The swim starts from the sandy beach of Lake Tye. The number of waves will be determined by the number of participants. The waves will be 3 minutes apart. The swimmers will head North and make a left turn making a counter clockwise loop around the bouys before heading back to shore. The sprint distance is approximately 500 meters.
