Lueker Munchkins - School and Play. We hope you enjoy watching our munchkins learn, explore and discover together as we share and document our homeschool and life experiences. Thursday, December 11, 2014. July 5, 2014 - The Great Smokey Mountains. On Saturday, July 5, we visited the Great Smoky Mountains. Our first stop was Clingmans Dome which was a recommendation my cousin, Jodi, gave us for a good hike with kids. As you can see from the pictures it was a beautiful day! Off our merry crew goes! Hot Buttered Soul: October 2008
http://ebonypage.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
A whole lot of something about nothing. Sunday, October 19, 2008. Day 6 of the Feast. Noah and Nyla seem to be conspiring to keep me from listening to a complete sermon. The crib is pretty nice too. We ended up sharing a 4-Br with some good friends from Ohio. There are 10 of us here, but it's been great. (Actually 13, if you count Mr. Frizzle, Superlion, and an as-yet-unnamed Blue Monkey that's really an ape.) I'll post some pics eventually. Some quick points:. Putt-putt: I'm horrible at it. Desperately ...

Hot Buttered Soul: Redd Foxx
http://ebonypage.blogspot.com/2012/05/redd-foxx.html
A whole lot of something about nothing. Wednesday, May 23, 2012. Missed out on a beautiful red fox that ran out in front of me on the highway, and then turned around and ran back. New Spring church was letting out, so traffic was too heavy for me to just stop and get out. Would've been a perfect shot, too. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Hot Buttered Soul: May 2008
http://ebonypage.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
A whole lot of something about nothing. Friday, May 09, 2008. For what it's worth, New Braunfels is in the early lead as the Palmer site of choice. Actually, Ocho Rios is the favorite but the chances of us making it there this year are basically nil. Sunset Beach would be much more convenient though, and I think it's going to be a huge site. We'll see. Anyone else thinking of Texas? Well, I was gonna try and post an update, but I just found out that two someones close to me are getting married.

Hot Buttered Soul: August 2008
http://ebonypage.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
A whole lot of something about nothing. Wednesday, August 13, 2008. Looks like someone in IT let the firewall go down and I can actually post. Looks like it's gonna be Branson, MO for the Feast this year. We've got quite a few friends attending there, most of whom we haven't seen in a while. Now how do we divvy up the time so no one gets left out? That's about it for now. Yall take care! Oh - Ben/Summer, we're looking forward to seeing you this weekend! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A Reading Horse: June 2015
http://fhbookblog.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (Sisterhood of Traveling Pants, Book 1) by Ann Brashares. Read, reviewed, and released in May, 2013. A teen coming-of-age novel involving the friendship of four girls united by the accident of birth (their mothers were in the same prenatal aerobics class) and a seemingly magical pair of old blue jeans found at a thrift store. Funny, I found this book at a thrift store! Sister of the Traveling Pants. Book image courtesy of Google Books. After the d...

Traveling with Andrew and Jen: November 2014
http://stilltravelingwithandrewandjen.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Traveling with Andrew and Jen. Wherever I have knocked, a door has opened. Wherever I have wandered, a path has appeared." Alice Walker. Thursday, November 6, 2014. Back in early August, Andrew and I took a shuttle bus into the park and went for a day hike up Sable Mountain. It's about 35-40 miles out the park road, just past Teklanika River and Igloo Canyon. It was a glorious day! The fall colors were just starting to turn. Just a few miles into the park we could see that the big mountain was booming!
