Tracking The Weather In West Central Forida. Sunday, October 10, 2010. We don't have much longer. Pretty soon, the 2010 Atlantic Hurricane Season will be over. To date, we've had 15 named storms, with 8 hurricanes. 5 of those hurricanes were considered major (Category 3 ). There is a disturbance the NHC is watching for development in the Caribbean moving west towards Nicaragua, but it doesn't look like it will amount to much. Links to this post.
