Sunday, October 21, 2012. We have hiked his trail so many times, but it is always my favorite to hike it in the fall. This year when we got to the falls I took a look at the falls and thought that they looked really small. Sunday, March 10, 2013. As I sit here on my couch, unable to walk much, I thought what a great time it would be to update our blog. As luck would have it I have had a run in with our exercise bike. My foot vs the bottom of the bike. I lost. Yesterday I was walking from my living room down the hall into Aaron's room and WHAM! Other than my fight with the exercise bike we are doing great! He is such a hard worker, and kind and has really enjoyed doing hospice so far. This has been another huge blessing...

Adoption Day at the Hospital. Aaron is our wonderful, energetic, happy, and loving son. We were so blessed to be picked as his adoptive parents, and our lives have never been happier. We LOVE adoption. Aaron is so blessed, his birth parents are wonderful and are a great part of our lives. We see them a couple times a year, and love them with all of our hearts. This necklace helps us remember that Aaron's birth parents are a forever part of our family tree. His birth mom has the exact same necklace.

Friday, April 5, 2013. Here in the Mansanarez home we are loving the spring time weather and warmth, and yes also the rain. I love it when it rains. I'm trying to stay away from it because I know it could be bad for my bottom line. It doesn't help that Ben encourages me in it, however. The site is aquabid.com. Mud Pies À La Mode. It's got it all. My hubby and I ran in the second annual Strides 4 Kids 5K this morning, which was a beautiful morning for a run. Almost as soon as we arrived several of the folks we know who help run it teased us, "Are you going to be as lucky this year? This year, however, luck had a sense of humor. I don't like to eat fried food much, but I won 5 meals from Captain D's while two brawny guys each won 10 free sessions of yoga at a local yoga studio. Go figure. Links to this post.
