We shift again: our gaze is parallel to that of the people sitting on the esplanade and we’re all looking out towards the sea. We watch their backs as their bodies shift, looking for comfortable positions. They adjust their clothing; we sense the heat and watch as the wind toys with their hats. Beyond them are rows of brightly colored umbrellas, boats and waves. May 13, 2012.
