My Journey to Gratitude. Where does the time go? March 22, 2012. I don’t often have the opportunity to sight-see, and my general impressions of the region are largely based on the people I meet at the event. Fortunately, the people I meet are almost always wonderful, friendly, interesting and very passionate about volunteering. I hear amazing stories at the events I attend and more than once, I’ve been moved to tears. Terribly competitive but they. Almost every place I go, I hear a story like this one.

I work for a non-profit organization with a mission that I believe in. We have a tremendous force of volunteers who do all the heavy lifting. They inspire me to work harder and smarter, and they are the reason I do what I do. In a nutshell, my job is to provide support to those volunteers. Did I mention that they inspire me? This is my life , sometimes rambling! My Relaxing Happy Saturday. March 15, 2014. I realize I’m a wee bit late with my weekly goal of posting once a week. That’s because I still am sick, but non-the-less, getting better each day 🙂. I began my day today with a leisurely breakfast, finally got showered and out of my pajamas, dressed for the day. My local Publix is only five blocks away, so I hopped on Scoot and went there to their really cool money making machine! That was an awesome experience for me!
