The ocean is not so silent. fishspeaks. Long live fish philosophy. Sunday, 23 January 2011. Dropped from the System. Having newly returned from the Motherland with a heightened sense of nationalism, I thought I might make a greater effort to keep in touch with the System. I even thought I'd be friendly and hang out with my own kind come February in the new city. And perhaps also be polite by informing the consular in my current location that I am moving to a city across the Atlantic. Blogs I check out.

When you are able to discard items accumulated from a certain era of your life, save for a handful of mementos, you know that you have come to terms with your past and are enjoying the present. The ocean is not so silent. fishspeaks. Long live fish philosophy. Wednesday, 29 December 2010. The Bitch bitches back. Thanks for dropping by. Indeed, I have been so overwhelmed by work and preparing for the major handover at noon later today that I have not talked to Mother Fish in weeks. Not that I was going through the 11 pages with a fine-toothed comb, but in my state of half-'awakeness', I compiled a list of 31 errors from the copy editor. Posted by The Scientist. I love watching it fall from behind my large windows, the only barrier between freezing point and heated air. Photos taken the morning after. The ocean is not so silent. fishspeaks. Long live fish philosophy. Tuesday, 12 October 2010. Step Ten - The Final Step? Update after Step Nine. Read a forwarded email from the Boss. The journal has sent our revised manuscript and rebuttal letter to the three reviewers. I am quite pleased with this final version and our supporting arguments. Nothing is ever perfect, but what we re-submitted is quite close to the ideal. Anyway, I am going on my month-long vacation, whether anyone likes it or not.
