Lovely little moony night. Monday, September 21, 2009. Wind, leaves, cider and pumpkin cake. I still get wildly enthusiastic about little things. I play with leaves. I skip down the street and run. Well, I'm finally back! The kids are back in school, and we've gotten through our usual first bout of sickness that always happens this time of year. We are slowly getting back into the swing of things, and while the kids do like going to school I still have a pit in my stomach. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Lovely little moony night. Monday, August 3, 2009. Like so many people I know, I've been crazily busy this summer and can't believe how it's flying by. My computer time has been extremely. Limited as I've been outside and running around with the kids so much. I almost decide to give up this little blog, but I know that once the kids are back in school and I have no one to eat my lunch with that I'll NEED it, so I guess I'll just call this a hiatus and return again in September. Lovely little moony night. Thursday, April 30, 2009. My birthday was 2 days ago, and just like every year I chose a birthday theme song. This year it was "We Will Not Grow Old" by Lenka. Although the song is about a couple in a new relationship (which doesn't apply to me at all! I just loved singing the title line with gusto in the kitchen, car, or wherever I happened to be on Tuesday. And I'll go bake me a cherry pie from scratch while I listen to my very hip Lenka! Lovely little moony night. Sunday, February 28, 2010. Gladys Taber's Full Snow Moon. In this age of tenseness, we all need such times to renew our souls. Friday, February 26, 2010. On Demand O'Henry Bars. Last night, out of the blue, my 8 year old son asked me to make what we call O'Henry Bars (not sure why). Because the ingredients are simple and always on hand, I was able to oblige in minutes. "These will be his home from college request," said my husband. 4 cups quick cooking oatmeal. 1 cup brown sugar.
