About Sunset Beach Paradise House. Sunset Beach Paradise is located on Vashon Island on Puget Sound, just a short 15 minute ferry boat ride from Seattle, and a 10 minute ferry boat ride from Tacoma. The house is only 1.7 miles from the North end ferry dock. It is a wonderful Northwest contemporary waterfront beach home built in 1975, with western exposure, zero bank, a 180° view of Colvos Passage and a sandy, flat beach. Don't forget to bring an old pair of shoes! Read Thank You notes from previous guests.
