carrot people: Wish us luck
http://carrotpeople.blogspot.com/2015/04/wish-us-luck.html
Tuesday, April 14, 2015. New "indestructable" dog bed. She seems to love it, although it's only been a day so we've not had a chance to test it's durability. I'm sure that will happen soon enough though. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Mutant carrots and wonky food. Sunset unbranding (now with photos! Burdastyle (gallery of sewn creations). Monday, April 20, 2015. Welcoming two new trees, a Lamb Haas and a Stewart. Hoping I take care of them well enough and the fruit grows well. Super excited. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). carrot people: Lawn shrinkage
http://carrotpeople.blogspot.com/2015/04/lawn-shrinkage.html
Tuesday, April 14, 2015. The new backyard is done, the lawn was made smaller on 3 sides by 4-8 feet per side. Fancy pebbles were put in where it used to be and fruit trees were planted. The dogs are enjoying having grass back. Trying hard to convince them to dig in the new dig box instead of the lawn with so-so progress so far. Mindy did some digging prior to this last shot, and all the dirt landed on Max. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Mutant carrots and wonky food. Best of Craftster 2008.

carrot people: Cone cabbage and a most awesome cookbook
http://carrotpeople.blogspot.com/2015/03/cone-cabbage.html
Monday, March 23, 2015. Cone cabbage and a most awesome cookbook. Another first courtesy of the CSA box, cone cabbage. I baked it with olive oil and salt (thanks internet for the idea) and it was soft and sweet and magnificent. Extra credit because it's from Suzie's Farm which is only 20 miles away. Might have to try to grow these next year. To the book, her pics are way better than mine. You'll love it! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Mutant carrots and wonky food. Friday, May 15, 2015. Overflowing in dog pics. Just can't stop taking them. I think these two have just become comfortable enough together to snuggle, in their own way. carrot people: Lemons
http://carrotpeople.blogspot.com/2015/05/lemons.html
Sunday, May 10, 2015. So here's the list of things I made with the 40 lemons. and they're still not all gone! Lemon posset (a mix between custard and panna cotta). Lemonade (so much 6 of us couldn't finish it). A few sidecar cocktails. Fingerling potatoes with lemon, salt, and rosemary. And now I've got 2 fresh lemons and a BIG jar of preserved lemons. So the saga continues with the first recipe using the preserved lemons, which is a modification of this preserved lemon quinoa recipe.
