Leire: My father is a big Barça's supporter
http://leire-eoi.blogspot.com/2009/05/my-father-is-big-barcas-supporter.html
My father is a big Barça's supporter. Everyone thinks we know our father very well, but yesterday I discovered my real father. Yesterday the first football team of our city made history and its supporters inundated streets, squares and neighborhoods, hundred of people needed to express their enthusiasm and support for the team that yesterday made us to dream. RMadrid 2 - Barça 6. What a way of playing football, it was a great football match for all the people who loves barça. 4 de mayo de 2009, 7:29.

Rip Van Winkle is Awake: A hundred years ago today
http://rapvinwankle.blogspot.com/2009/02/hundred-years-ago-today.html
Rip Van Winkle is Awake. It is so obvious! Tuesday, 17 February 2009. A hundred years ago today. The Apache military leader, Geronimo, died of pneumonia as a wasr prisoner in Oklahoma. I am not very familiar with Indian customs and traditions. I can only remember how they helped our funding fathers in Massachussetts, gave them food and drinks and that way managed to survive the rest of that cold winter of 1620. He was buried at Fort Sill (Oklahoma), and in 1918 his tomb was stolen. The thiefs took Ge...

James Wilkinson's Place: Next Stop: Stockholm
http://jameswilkinson.blogspot.com/2009/05/next-stop-stockholm.html
Wednesday, May 13, 2009. Across the big pond. I'm sure your big plunge will be an exciting one. The Swedes are a great bunch. Didn't know they offered classes in English there. Speaking of improving your English - remember that the doors here across the pond are open to you for a short or long term stay/visit. Across the big pond. May 14, 2009 at 5:24 AM. It seems that most universities in the north of Europe offer a great number of classes (specially in the last years of the different studies) in English.

James Wilkinson's Place: October 2008
http://jameswilkinson.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 26, 2008. Is the Daylight Saving Time really Beneficial? As you know (well, I'm sure there's someone who forgot it), last night at 3 am, our clocks moved back one hour to 2 am. I want to start a discussion about the time's change. The wintertime represents one hour more of daytime in the morning and one hour less of daytime in the evening. It's not worth my while to change the time in winter. I would prefer keeping the summertime all the year. What's your opinion about this? Who was the S...

James Wilkinson's Place: February 2009
http://jameswilkinson.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 20, 2009. 07%: The 1st World's Hypocrisy. In 1980, many States agreed to use 0.7% of their GDP. To develop the Third World. Only four of these States have achieved this objective and Spain, as you might suppose, is not one of them. In my opinion, the only way to help these countries is to let them develop themselves. And it will only be possible if the First World removes those duties and subventions. I know it would mean the unemployment of most of our farmers, but it's the only...Spain...

James Wilkinson's Place: The Serious Danger of Deflation
http://jameswilkinson.blogspot.com/2009/02/serious-danger-of-deflation.html
Saturday, February 14, 2009. The Serious Danger of Deflation. Spain, inflation is plummeting. If nothing changes, everything points to deflation. At first sight, the fact that prices fall could seem something positive. After all, we would have a higher purchasing power (if we keep our job). However, if you think about it, you will see it isn't as good as it seems: would you buy something today if you know it will be cheaper tomorrow? February 15, 2009 at 3:54 PM. All this things sound weird to me! I disa...

Rip Van Winkle is Awake: October 2008
http://rapvinwankle.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Rip Van Winkle is Awake. It is so obvious! Monday, 27 October 2008. More films and some music. You know that cinema and films in general are younger than I, but because of my age I feel better with old films and stories. This weekend I was watching on of my favourites Battleship Potemkin. I hope you like it. I know that for some purists this things should not be done. They are like a sin. You may probably talk about the heresy they did with Metropolis. By Lightning Seeds, Hombres G copying At The Zoo.
