http://cheers-for-veres.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 31, 2014. Quarantined and More Halloween Prep. Then, it was time to bake some Halloween sugar cookies. I had everything ready to go, and our little baker knew exactly what do. And Adam learned from the best. While our cookies were baking, the kids got to enjoy their first Steelers game with Daddy. We weren't able to finished decorating our cookies until later in the week, but when we did they certainly passed the taste test! Friday, October 24, 2014. Checking out their pumpkins. Adam ende...

Cheers for Veres: February 2015
http://cheers-for-veres.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 20, 2015. This whole cooking experience was new to Adam, so I immediately had to explain that the chefs/bakers were not supposed to eat the ingredients, but those chocolate chips were irresistible! Olivia even needed to sneak a taste. I knew I needed to get their little hands busy fast, or we wouldn't have any chocolate chips to put into our cookies. Olivia started by added the flour while Adam watched carefully. Then, Adam added the salt and baking soda. Olivia added the brown sugar.

Cheers for Veres: June 2015
http://cheers-for-veres.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 29, 2015. Father's Day and Other Fun. Once we all woke up from our naps, I suggested that we take the kids to the pool for some quality family time and to practice their swimming skills. I also figured that Daddy could use the Vitamin D. Daddy was so sick that he ended up taking the next 3 days off from work, and he really should have taken the whole week. He rested and got a lot of extra snuggles from the kids. The teacher had no problems with Olivia participating. And she loved! When it ca...

Sunday, May 31, 2015. Pool Time w/ the Veres. On Saturday, our last day with the Veres, the sun was shining, and it was a beautiful day for some outdoor fun. After Daddy made us all a delicious breakfast, I dressed the kids in their sister/brother of the year shirts. They looked absolutely adorable! They enjoyed some playtime in our backyard before we all dressed for some pool time fun! And before we knew it, Olivia overcame her fear of the water and was swimming all by herself with her puddle jumper!

http://cheers-for-veres.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 31, 2015. PA Trip: Crabapple Pool. On Thursday morning, Olivia and Adam were super excited to see Zein again. He came back to Wadee's house to spend the day with us while his mommy and daddy went to work. And we can not forget about Adam. He was bringing up the rear with his daddy. . Before getting into the pool, we posed the kids on a bench for a quick picture. And this picture has to be my favorite so far of these 3 sweet kiddos. . After spending some time in the kiddie pool, we ventured...

Cheers for Veres: April 2015
http://cheers-for-veres.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 12, 2015. And it was the perfect place to practice her forward roll from gymnastics class. Here was Olivia climbing up and sliding down the big slide. As I suspected, Adam was weary of the bounce houses, but he had fun with the plastic slide. And Olivia and I were able to encourage him to try out a bounce house or two. We played some arcade games and had lunch. As the kids began to wind down, they both enjoyed playing with the toys and blocks. For dinner that night, Olivia said she wanted a...

Saturday, January 31, 2015. Katelyn's 6th Birthday Party. She's taking after her own momma. After lunch, Olivia and I got ready for Katelyn's 6th birthday party. It was going to be a cooking party at Young Chefs Academy! Needless to say, Olivia and I were very excited to help our very special friend celebrate her birthday, and we knew we were going to have a ton of fun! After Katelyn mixed up a batch of dough, it was time for one of the head chefs to pull out the pink dough for the pink pizzas. That'...

http://cheers-for-veres.blogspot.com/2015/08/preschool-first-week.html
Friday, August 14, 2015. Preschool - First Week. For their first week, I took before and after pictures of my babies. I also received quite a few pictures throughout those first few days from their teachers showing them in action. And those pictures meant the world to me. It was comforting to see them participating and happy after having left them in tears. Adam absolutely loved all the painting. Olivia practiced tracing her name and coloring a self-portrait. After a long day 2.. Olivia and Adam,. You a...

Cheers for Veres: Summer's Last Hurrah
http://cheers-for-veres.blogspot.com/2015/08/summers-last-hurrah.html
Wednesday, August 5, 2015. With the car hitting the boat, I really don't think the kids felt anything at all. And I am so thankful for that. On Sunday, we were planning on doing some grocery shopping and getting the kids things ready for their first day of preschool. But since Saturday was a bust, we decided to take the kids back to the Cherokee County Aquatic Center. The squirt tower and the kiddie pool were huge hits with the kids, but we also spent a lot of time in the whirlpools. We are excited to ha...
