Tuesday, November 8, 2016. Sketch Challenge #2: Inktastic! Our second November sketch challenge begins today, and our theme this week is ink! Here's an example project I made using a watercolor background created with Pool Party ink and a lovely layered deer set from Hero Arts. I pulled out a vintage Stampin' Up greeting for this card and embossed it in silver on a strip of vellum and added a few silver sequins for a little sparkle. Thanks for playing along! Saturday, May 28, 2016. Time for Teacher Gifts! To get started on this year's end-of-school cards, I pulled out my PTI Teach and Inspire stamp set. This set has some great heartfelt teacher-themed sentiments, and since you can't have a teacher card without an apple, I also grabbed my Apple Prints set and coordinating dies. Sunday, October 9, 2016. The new Jar of Love set from Stampin' Up is all kinds of cute, and I decided it was perfect for our latest Stamp Club project. We had so much fun putting together different combinations of colors with the various sentiments in the set! While I had my stamps and dies out, I decided to make a second card with a totally different vibe. This cute project in the annual catalog was calling to me, so I cased it with my own supplies. The little fish is just irresistible!

Friday, August 5, 2016. Here in the great white north the days are already getting shorter. I am always amazed by how quickly our short summer passes! I decided to hang on to the sun a while longer by creating a cheerful birthday card covered in flowers! I use partial die cutting a lot in my crafting, and I used it on this card to create a colorful floral border. Tuesday, November 22, 2016. Sketch Challenge #4: All That Glitters! I can't believe we're already on the fourth and final week of our November sketch challenge. I have been hosting a little contest on my crafting group's Facebook page during November, and the entries in these challenges have been phenomenal! I can't wait to give a $20 gift card away to one of the amazing members of my local crafting club at our annual weekend craft-a-thon in December! This project does not have to be holiday themed.
