Tuesday, October 23, 2012. Kami lost her first tooth! Well, we knew it was bound to happen, but it's happening before our eyes- our baby is growing up on us! Kambri lost her first tooth and was so cute about it. It'd been loose for a week or so and she kept wiggling it and decided she was going to see if eating an apple would help it out. Sunday, February 6, 2011. Teenager in 'da house. We have officially had a teenager in our house since November- I can hardly believe it. Better late than never for some long overdue posts, eh? It feels unreal to have a kid that old. A sad attempt at an iPod cake. And I've forgotten how a teenagers needs are fairly simple. Music, books, video games, friends, distance from the family. We had a fun little family party and then he had a friend sleepover/party with the 'boys' on Friday! He is a great singer!

Saturday, July 30, 2011. Mom had a 3 day class down in St. George for work. Lindsay and I put the idea out there that we'd like to get away with her. So, off to St. George we went. It was nice to just do whatever we wanted (i.e. sleeping, computer time, reading, shopping, etc.) Lots of fun times were had and it was just what we needed. Play nice with the kids. Tuesday, May 13, 2014. It's official- he's a licensed driver! It's been kind of an interesting process with how they go about the permit and license rules now as compared to when Shaun and I turned 16. He's had his permit since July and it only allowed for a parent and immediate family to be in the car. Then on top of that, he had to have possession of a permit for a full 6 months before he could get his actual license. Here he is with his temporary license! He's ready and rearing to drive by himself!

Thursday, May 16, 2013. Shaun went through the Brigham Temple on April 18th and took out his endowments! Traver, a good friend and neighbor of ours was Shaun's escort. Tuesday, November 30, 2010. I had to document this before I forgot it. My kids constantly say things and I put it in the reserve part of my memory (aka worthless part.haha) so I can be certain to remember it for years to come. After many months of debate we have a few decorations now on poor Kami's walls. They still look white and lonely, but for now I don't have the painting mood going on. Any ideas? Hooray for a new bed! Just another WordPress site. Reading Nook: Part 2. January 22, 2017. Middot; Leave a Comment. I wanted a header across the top so that it would. Separate the nook from the hallway. So this is what we came up with. We made sure to to leave a 3/4″ space in the front. So that we could wrap the header in wood. We made sure to screw it into studs in the ceiling. PS The top frame is now also wrapped. Here it is wrapped. We added some crown to the front. See that little vent? Gosh I love having a handy man!
