Never refrigerate greenhouse tomatoes. It spoils their taste and texture and diminishes their nutritional value. Keep out of direct sunlight. To prevent premature ripening, keep tomatoes away from fruit such as apples, pears and bananas. We produce 5 different types of tomatoes, something for everyone's taste. SunTech Can # 1 Beefsteak:. These are the biggest tomatoes and have a meaty texture with a sweet flavour. Great for salads, grilling or stuffing and are ideal for sandwiches. SunTech Can # 2:.

SunTech Greenhouses LTD. is locally owned and operated. It resides on ninety acre lot in the town of Manotick, located just 15 minutes south of Ottawa, Ontario. The initial facility was constructed in 1999 and covered 2.3 acres of the land. An additional 12,000 square feet was added in the spring of 2001, bringing the greenhouse acreage to 2.5 acres. Since then, the infrastructure was increased by 1.5 acres in 2010, bringing the total greenhouse surface to 4 acres. Tour with our mascot “Sunny”.

To pollinate our plants, we introduce bumblebees to the greenhouse. We keep the number of bees in balance with the number of open flowers. This results in improved fruit quality as well as labour efficiency. In January of 2015, SunTech greenhouses made a drastic upgrade.
