Thursday, January 26, 2006. Blogs and Your Writing. LEAP 3B students,. I realize that blogging may be new to some of you. Why are we doing this and how will it help you? That is a good question. Here are some ideas for you to think about. 1 Blogging is a place for you to 'play' with language - you can practice using new vocabulary and expressions. 3 Blogs are a place to collaborate - you and your classmates can work together by sharing ideas, assisting classmates, and supporting each other.

LEAP INTO ENGLISH: January 2006
http://leapintoenglish.blogspot.com/2006_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 31, 2006. The Alberta Teachers of English as a Second Language (ATESL) have published an article I wrote in their newsletter. It's kind of exiting for me to see one of my articles in print. If anyone really wants to know about blogs and one of the reasons I like to use them in class, they can check out my article here:. Http:/ www.atesl.ca/docs/Newsletter%20December%2005.pdf. It is a huge pdf file, so it may take some time to download. Anyway, blogging is great! Thursday, January 26, 2006.

Vicky: December 2005

Friday, December 23, 2005. Back to office right before Christmas. Right now I am in my office reflecting on what I did with my students last semester. Scenes in classrooms, on campus, at the zoo, and in the devonian gardens jump into my mind as I am reading the binder. What wonderful experience is that! Besides, working with Scott is so impressive and benefitial. His vigor and experitise in ESL/EFL teacing provide me with a vivid picture of "intentional and reflective teaching". Wednesday, January 11, 2006. Sitting in Scott's class. Although this is only the third class that Scott are with his new students, the trust between the teacher and students has been built up. Students feel comfortable to raise questions when there is any. I think it is very important for successful teaching and learning. Posted by Vicky @ 10:22 AM. Towards the end of the semester.
