In technology we try to stretch the bands in the brain a little. We look at both the right and left side. Both the creative and more strategic and logical side. Here is a picture of how some see the brain. Should be a great year!

Friday, October 7, 2011. Here is the movie that we used as the backdrop for our dance 'Every Child Has The Right To An Education'. The last bit of our movie had to be loaded separately for technical reasons! It is the video Andy shot in our classroom and put together for us. It shows us having fun. We wanted this because we think learning is fun, and we truly believe it is the right of every child. We hope you enjoy watching them. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). This Is Room 16. Friday, August 12, 2011. We have been watching Happy Feet the Penguin. He looks a bit bored in his cage. He had to get sticks and stones taken out of his stomach. We hope he gets better soon! Maybe we could take him to Christchurch and put him in the Antarctic center. By Jack E and Zoe. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Welcome to Room 15's blog! Rm 15's Blog: Spring Poetry
http://balmoralroom15.blogspot.com/2011/11/spring-poetry.html
Friday, November 18, 2011. We have been writing cinquain poems. The first line of the poem is one topic word or noun, the second line has two adjectives, the third lines has three verbs and the last line is a simile. The children then turned them into digital stories using Photo Story 3 all by themselves. They took their own photo, recorded their voice, wrote their titles, and picked their music. We hope that you love them as much as we do. We still have a few more to make but will put the rest up asap).
