I work as a digital video editor/ camera operator but wanted to re-discover the wonderful world of celluloid so got on Ebay and brought an Agfa Moviexoom super 8 camera and Sonnector LS projector. I have shot a bit of super 8 before using a Prinz Corvette (snazzy name) my friend lent me. But i'm looking forward to getting to grips with the Moviexoom as it has a few more bells and whistles. They were a pleasure to deal with, informing me when the film was being dispatched and attaching a handy sheet of faults with how it was shot! Wednesday, 11 November 2009. Seven months and not one post. Haven't shot a roll of film since then either. Pretty rubbish. I applied for Straight 8. 2009 but for various reasons (complete lack of organisation being the main one) the roll of film sits unfinished in my AGFA movexoom. The pain of my failure has passed and im going to finish what I started and rediscover the pleasure of celuloid. I have discovered the joy of lomography. In the interim (expect posts on that in the future) so all is not lost.
