For those of you who are not familiar with the brand it is a small company that manufactures high performance electric cars. The AC induction motor and single speed gear box create instant torque from 0 rpm. Monday, February 28, 2011. Aston Martin Virage will be presented on the Geneva motorshow. Aston calls it a car that splits the DB9 and the DBS. The Virage is meant to get pretty much the V12 performance and cornering of the DBS with the subtler looks and GT ability of the DB9. The chassis is calibrated to be as capable as a DBS's, but more comfortable and easier to push hard. The V12 has 490bhp. Thankfully you can get it in many different colors. Wednesday, March 2, 2011. The Alfa Romeo 4C will be the new Alfa Romeo sports car and is intended to revive the glory of the Italian sports brand from the 60s and 70s. It is said that the Alfa Romeo 4C GTA will be based on the KTM X-Bow, with power coming from either a 1.7 TBi engine producing 265hp or a four-cylinder engine developing 250hp. The frame is made of carbon fiber and designed by Dallara Automobili. A top speed of about 250km/h and a sprint from zero to 100km/h in five seconds are expected.
