In Omaha, Nebraska, a black lab named Jake saved his human brother's life. His brother, Tony, is 84 (or 12 in people years). He was swimming in the Platte River and was struggling against the current. He was yelling for help and only Jake heard him. Jake swam out to Tony. BLOG: The Doggy Hunter. Two legs good, four legs better. Wednesday, July 16, 2008. Rocco Finally Goes Home! 5 years ago a Beagle puppy named Rocco ran away from his Queens, NY home. I don't think he meant to run away though. I bet he loved his family, but he found a way out of the fence and probably sniffed his way far from home. This can happen to dogs. Then they are lost and it is really sad. Well just a little bit ago Rocco was found 850 miles away in Georgia and he is happy and healthy!

The mama dog brought the baby back to her own puppies. Good thing she did because it was only 37 degrees out! Humans don't like it that cold.
