September 26, 2011. Riding in the Rain. I went out to an event far out on the winding highway on a rainy afternoon. Along the same road where my honey-kins hit a deer, and where many others drive like maniacs. It was all right. I got lost, went down the wrong dirt road, but thankfully, I could step off the bike, take a look around, and then use my Blackberry to look up the real address. Pictures, you ask? The feeling of having a car suddenly decide to stop at the post office in front of you right before the big hill, when you slide past them and suddenly accelerate and are the fastest thing going up that massive grade, it’s so much fun. nd that was even just doing the speed limit. Let me tell you, I’d gotten so used to the ease of being able to head up to the movie rental, or the hardware store out of town, that not having a bike left me sort of stranded.
