Books are the Best! Just find one. One book they will love and they will start to see the excitement that reading can be. As a side note, I want to point out that there is nothing. Wrong with allowing your child to listen. To audio books if they are really resistant to reading or have a learning disability that makes it so hard that it is unpleasant. Being able to listen to a book, in my opinion, is just as good as reading one! Shannon Hale is one of my favorite authors! She always has great story lines ...
