Relish, my Relish. Just another WordPress.com weblog. The shower that I really needed to have. I am pretty sure that everyone knows the phrase “the straw that broke the camel’s back”, well for me the phrase should read “the shower that broke me! 8221; or more accurately, “the shower that I didn’t get to enjoy broke the last semblance of sanity left! Seriously. Are you the only f*cking person in this house? Your actions would certainly indicate so! On July 15, 2013 in things that make you go grrr. Working...

Cupcakes of Kensington: Devil's Food Cake
http://cupcakesofkensington.blogspot.com/2009/04/devils-food-cake.html
Wednesday, April 22, 2009. A few years ago i found this recipe in an old American cook book. I have changed it a bit to adapt to Aussie grocery availabilities. It's really simple but VERY popular. It tastes great with any type of frosting, but rich ganache is a decadent match. Plain glace icing is just so easy and affordable, and tastes great! 115g Soft brown sugar. 1/2 teaspoon bicarb soda. 25g Unsweetened Cocoa powder. Gently spoon mixture into cupcake pans so they are no more than 3/4 full.
