I think there is some controversy that has taken place since the story in the book ended in 2006, and Deborah had to flee Afghanistan. It was well-written enough that I wanted to research and find out what's happening now. It was a good start to 2011. By Lisa Genova (February). I read about this book on a blog I follow. The book jacket will draw you in and it is worth your time to read. By Mosab Hassan Yousef (June).
