I tested this dessert on my flatmate, firstly checking his response to the flavours and then his facial expression once I told him the bulk of this dessert contains beans. He couldn’t tell the difference. 3/4 cup quick oats. 2 tbsp coconut oil. 1/4 cup cacao powder. 1 can cannellini beans.

EAT WELL FEEL GOOD LOOK GREAT. Almond milk – I tend to make my own as the store bought ones contain additives. Cacao powder and cinnamon. Fresh fruit: bananas, berries, apples, limes, lemons. Fresh vegetables: spinach, kale, avocado, beetroot, carrots, sweet potato, pumpkin, zucchini, cauliflower, eggplant. Gluten free flour: almond flour, buckwheat flour, coconut flour. Grains: buckwheat, quinoa, brown rice, oats. Legumes: lentils, black beans, kidney beans and chickpeas. Nut butters: almond, cashew.
