Planning – sportief. Planning traject (sportief gedeelte):. Aankomst van deelnemers vanaf 09.30 in Astene, aan ’T Oud Sashuis, Hellestraat 20 in Astene. Er wordt gezorgd voor wat warme dranken. Rond 12,30 worden de SUPpers verwacht in Sint Martens Latem: op het grasplein aan het gemeentehuis is het verzamelpunt en. Stand up paddle surfing. Is een vorm van golfsurfen op een golfsurfplank met een lengte van minimaal tien voet (3 meter) en een peddel. In tegenstelling tot gewoon golfsurfen, waar liggend of knielend met de armen gepeddeld wordt, wordt bij een stand up paddle board gebruikgemaakt van een peddel. Deze peddel is zo’n 180 cm tot 230 cm lang. De surfer staat daarbij op de surfplank. De peddel kan gemaakt zijn van hout, van kunststof of van aluminium en is drijvend. Sup For Life 2016.

Goede doel « Sup For Life 2016

Dit jaar steunen we de vzw LCH.be, die werd opgericht in 1997 door ouders van kinderen met de ziekte Langerhans-cel-histiocytose. De vereniging heeft als doel het stimuleren van wetenschappelijk onderzoek naar opsporings- en behandelingsmethoden van de ziekte. De vereniging werkt enkel met vrijwilligers maar kan voor de medische expertise beroep doen op artsen en paramedici die in Vlaanderen enige specialisatie in de ziekte hebben opgebouwd. Dit seizoen plannen we 2 recreatieve wedstrijdjes: op 26 juni en ergens begin augustus.
