The test should be performed by a computer on the same network as your ICY BOX. Click the Test Port Forwarding button to perform test. The test progression and result will display here. Port 21 (FTP access) will show blocked until it's set to ON From the Internet, in Network Services of ICY BOX's Administration area.

Resetting the administrator password. If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it. Resetting the password will also restore the LAN Connection. Preferences to factory default. Insert the Setup CD into your PC or Mac. The Main. Page of ICY BOX Setup appears. The Reset your ICY BOX. Page appears, and the setup program searches for your ICY BOX device. Once the IP address of your ICY BOX device appears, click Reset. A message appears, directing you to reboot the device within five minutes.

ICY BOX and Firewalls. A firewall on your computer might be preventing your ICY BOX from functioning normally. This firewall application might be part of your Operating System or it could be a 3rd party software you installed. The following applications need to access the internet in order for ICY BOX to function normally. If you get a firewall warning about these applications, allow them to go thru by selecting Unblock or something synonymous. ICY BOX Agent Application.

In order to provide you with instructions on how to configure your router for ICY BOX, Setup needs to know which brand of router is used on your network.
