How does the cellular data modem work? The cellular data modem is activated and operational from the moment the JunctionBox is powered on. It serves as a backup to report data even if your primary internet connection goes down (if you lose WiFi or ethernet). How do I know if the flood sensor is working? A working flood sensor emits a steady blue light from the internal LED. If you don't see a light coming from the flood sensor try disconnecting and then reconnecting the cord to the sensor and also to the JunctionBox itself.
