How to copy channel settings to another channel. March 29, 2016 12:58. Sometimes it is useful to copy the settings from one Transcode channel to another channel. Currently there is no easy way to do that using the MComms Transcode GUI, but all the settings are stored in the Windows registry so it is possible to manipulate them there. Here's how to copy all the settings for Channel 1 to Channel 2:. Close MComms Transcode GUI (this is important). Right click on Channel 1. Find and Replace Channel 1.

However even after you do that H.264 video and AAC audio still don't play, this is because Microsoft doesn't include the necessary files by default (like it does in Windows 7).
