What is the Remote Support Tool? The Remote Support Tool is a new technology that connects UVic Students and Staff to to the technical support personnel of the UVic Computer Help Desk. Using this tool, the technical support representative can "share control" of your computer system or mobile phone for a limited period. This allows the technical support representative to visually guide you through procedures necessary to fix any issue you may be experiencing. Is it difficult to use? How do I get started?
