Saturday, October 17, 2009. Save to del.icio.us. Sorry I haven't written in awhile. Been really busy with work and home. I started my new treatment of Taxotere this past Thursday. Dr. Ruggeri thought it would be a great idea, since my blood levels were good. So far I haven't had any side effects except for my normal red rash I get on my face and neck. They put me on Prednisone again just in case if I do swell up. Wish me well in my final journey! Do you have any suggestions? Subscribe to my feed.

Thursday, July 9, 2009. Save to del.icio.us. News keeps arriving. OT and PT home care is available. As long as I stay home bound (NO driving) Not strong enough to pop a clutch or shift yet :-(. My home nurse comes 2 times a week to check vitals and overall status. PT says my legs are fine, one visit per week is good. Keep up with normal every day activity is best! OT says my Range of Motion is better since Tuesday, and needs a little more improvement. Two thumbs up! Throughout the day, I have alot.

Wednesday, September 9, 2009. Save to del.icio.us. Well, I have been thru 2 Chemo treatments so far. And I seem to be doing OK. My only side affect is Nausea a couple of days after treatment. My infection in my left breast looks better and I'm still on anti-biotics for 1 more week. My red and white blood cells are good, as well as platelets. Very therapeutic. ;-). I have lost all my hair that was growing back except for my eyebrows.go figure! All in all I am doing great! 2 of my closest friends.
