The Glenns: Leaves!
http://andrewandnaomi.blogspot.com/2014/11/leaves.html
Sunday, November 2, 2014. One of our kids' favorite things about the Fall are leaf piles. Thankfully (for them at least) we have 2 big trees in our yard and one of them has dropped all of its leaves. So, Andrew revved up the leaf blower and made a huge pile for the kids. Eloise loves a good leaf pile, just like the rest of 'em. A few too many leaves in the boot. Lucy didn't like the loud leaf blower. So, she watched from the steps until Daddy was done. Now we just have to wait on tree #2. Day at the Fair.
The Glenns: June 2012

Thursday, June 14, 2012. We headed to our new pool for the first time on Saturday. It was a hit! There's a big baby pool. But, everyone seems to love the big pool even better. There's a great shallow end where the kids can play well. Madeline and Oliver just pop on their ring floats and hang out. Lucy loves chillin' in her float while trying to drink the pool water. But, the biggest hit of our first trip to the pool was the ice cream truck. Wednesday, June 6, 2012. Friday, June 1, 2012. That Kristin intr...

Tuesday, October 14, 2014. Claude Moore Colonial Farm. So, we finally made it to the farm. We were early since I was expecting horrible traffic. But, since 5 people definitely counts for HOV, we flew past everyone. This gave us time to explore around the woods while we were waiting. We found these cool Osage oranges to play with. Once all the families arrived, we walked back to their market area for our farm skills classes. Then we learned about candle making. Our funny little candles. A little farther a...

Monday, November 19, 2012. We took Lucy to The Yellow Balloon for her first haircut. We let Oliver go first while we waited for Andrew to join us. Madeline entertained herself and Lucy on the ride on toys. And Oliver didn't scream and throw a fit like the last time I took him to get his haircut. A lot can change in a year. Daddy finally arrived and it was Lucy's turn. We were mainly trying to get rid of the mullet. Oliver finished up. Isn't he so handsome? Wednesday, November 7, 2012. Our first family bi...

The Glenns: August 2014

Friday, August 29, 2014. We went to Oliver's preschool on Thursday to meet his new teacher. We got to find his cubby, play with some trains and puzzles and play on the playground a little bit. We were sad that Madeline's preschool teacher from a few years ago is no longer teaching at this preschool. But, I think Mrs. Hanus will be great. School starts on Tuesday. Tuesday, August 26, 2014. First Day of School. He helped take pictures as well. We learned about open and closed syllables. Oliver did calendar...
The Glenns: February 2013
http://andrewandnaomi.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 28, 2013. After a good night's rest, we got ready to head to the Magic Kingdom for day 2. We started our morning at the Grand Floridian Hotel for a breakfast with the characters. We checked out the beautiful hotel while we waited for our table. Mary Poppins. I am trying to convince my mom to sew it for her since she has way more sewing experience than me. Mary Poppins was practically perfect in every way. Next we met Tigger and Pooh. Lucy was terrified of them. Meeting many of our favo...

Kelly ( KJ ). Wednesday, May 14, 2014. Songs - I'm a Mini Karla. My sisters make fun of me, well. mostly Erica. But I love making up silly songs to sing with the girls. I thought I'd document them, so I never forget. I only wish I could convey the melodies! This song was to remember, to always put the tag of your clothes in the back. Tag in the back, tag in the back. We always put the tag in the back.". Song sung while on the way to Grandma's house. We're going to Grandma's house. Oh yes we are. Yes, I do.
