Pagwa or Holi, a Hindu festival, is celebrated with much colourful enthusiasm in Guyana. It falls in March and is a national holiday. Station Street in Kitty is one of the place to be on this day! If you want to be part of the celebrations, other spots to check out include the Stadium in Providence and the Indian Cultural Centre in Bel Air.
