Tuesday, July 14, 2009. 1959 Class Reunion- Cedarville, MI 7/4/2009. Eleven Classmates and their wives/ husbands showed for our Cedarville 50th Class Reunion in the UP of Mi over the 4th. Mike also drove up from Myrtle Beach. We started with 30, and 8 who have sadly passed. Had a great time in the nice cool weather, as the high was about 80 during the day. Evenings cooled to about 50. Mike stopped by several weeks ago and we went to the Veteran Memorial. He had driven to Vegas for a week and was on his way back to Myrtle Beach. Good to see him. Friday, April 3, 2009. Jimmy has won enough, and is not so populor here in Texas. Decided to help out Carl Edwards this year. This is his track and he needs a win. From Day to Day.

Thursday, November 20, 2008. Aniversary in Vancouver (White Rock) BC. Dee deserves to have a great aniversary present, # 46 , so we traveled to Vancouever/ White Rock BC to be with our friends the Klassens for 3 days. As usual the weather is 'damp cold' with little sun, but the scenery is spectacular. Eagles were nesting and the sunsets are spectacular. We were with the Klassens in Indonesia in the late 70's. What a long time ago! Len and I even skipped out to the Canadian Legion! From Day to Day.

Tuesday, May 19, 2009. Another Endorphin Injection, Riding Through the Countryside. I went on a new route this evening and I took along my new toy: a GPS receiver. It is very cool and actually keeps track of almost every little turn I make as I ride along. It also keeps track of my heart rate and will soon follow my cadence. I was quickly putting the mount for it on the bicycle before we left and got it on backwards! It is getting late as I write this. Need to get to bed so I can go to work tomorrow!

I made the turtle but was wishing the entire time for Kay's help. Thanks. I loved the Wild Side on the front. Next year you need to come up with a way to cover most of the cart. Another woman was there with her little girl and they had a loaf of bread to feed the birds which they shared with us. This morning Luke and I went back with all the stale bread from Tamara's bread basket. We fed ducks, Ibis, starlings and others. He had a good time and it was fun watching him. June 2015 Glacier Bay Alaska. July 18, 2015. I brought premixed pita bread with flour, yeast and salt. I mixed it with water, kneaded it, and let it rise. We backed it in a pan, and some in a flat slate oven we built from stones on the beach and it came out very well. Fresh bread in the wilderness! We used the Hillegerg Nammatj GT and it was a godsend.
