Dis•place•men•tia: Update From Florian ...

Dis•place•men•tia. Update From Florian . I finally had another go out on the pig this past week. 2' to 4' south swell at C Street, fairly clean and lined up. I rode it with the fin pictured. Unfortunately, I didn't get too many waves as I had to contend with a bunch of overzealous longboarders in their twenties, but I managed to snag a few. I also still need to adjust my stance to stand further back as I'm used to riding further forward. I will keep you posted. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Dis•place•men•tia. You Like A Little V Behind The Fin, Bro? The transition era generated some pretty radical boards.but who's to say what would or wouldn't work until they tried it? Dis•place•men•tia. Asymmetric single foil flex fin for rights. This makes me happy. The Greenough Edge Boards. There's been renewed interest in Greenough's edgeboard design concept.with Dave Rastovich riding a couple of stand-up versions George built recently. (George is working on two more as we speak.). KP's post on the Rasta edgeboard is directly below. Liquid Salt has coverage HERE. George loved his old round bottom spoons of the mid-to-late 60's. The deep belly under Velo's nose would break up the c...

Dis•place•men•tia. Followup On "Old Blue". The board in question . on display in Greg Liddle's Reseda showroom, c1969. Is this the same board, now dwelling in Kirk Putnam's garage, some 45 years later? Happy new year. I think I have the board in the photo of Greg's old Reseda shop. This was from that time around 1970 when everything went super short. I don't think this was Ken's board, but it could be. This one is 5'6' . He thought his was 5'10' . Anyway, some interesting stuff to ponder. Commonly referr...
