View my complete profile. Tuesday, May 29, 2007. It has been a long time but as you know I made it back safe from Africa and am now in Nicaragua and Honduras for a couple of weeks! These women have dirt floors and corrugated metal roofs. They are saintly. We offered them raises and they refused saying that they wanted to continue to feel the warming of their hearts for doing what they do. They make about seventy five dollars a month. Crazy!
