Our Journey to Emma: March 2011
http://ourjourneytoemma-kathy.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Our Journey to Emma. Follow along as we take this journey of adopting our little girl from China. Tuesday, March 22, 2011. It is hard to believe that Emma Kate will be 16 months this month and has been home with us now for 8 months. I always hear parents say, "cherish everyday because time passes quickly"! I now understand that completely. Emma Kate went to the pediatrician this month and she weighs 22 pounds and is 31 inches tall which means she is growing like a weed! I love my new Kai Lan backpack!

Our Journey to Emma. Follow along as we take this journey of adopting our little girl from China. Thursday, October 21, 2010. Sorry it has been a while since I posted anything but as usual.we have been busy. Emma Kate is still crawling everywhere and goes so fast. She is pulling up and cruising the furniture like a pro. She has even stood by herself (not holding onto anything) a few times. Walking is going to happen soon. We took a few pictures and here they are. Enjoy! Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Our Journey to Emma. Follow along as we take this journey of adopting our little girl from China. Wednesday, June 8, 2011. Well, another month has passed and we have been busy bees around here! Emma Kate and I got home in time to have our first Mother’s Day together. We had a nice day together. Emma Kate is talking more and more. She attempts to repeat what we say more often now. Our Journey to Emma. Follow along as we take this journey of adopting our little girl from China. Wednesday, December 29, 2010. We had a nice, quiet, and white Christmas! Apparently the last time it snowed in Atlanta on Christmas Day was in the year 1882. Wow, that was a few years ago! Emma Kate in her dress that Stephanie, Brian and Sylvie gave to her. We went to a Christmas party so this was the perfect thing for her to wear. Of course, she was the hit of the party. Christmas Eve posing for the camera.

Journey to Amelie-Our brown eyed girl. Our Yang Nu means adopted daughter in Mandarin-this is our story of our journey to our daughter, who is waiting for us in China. Chinese folklore says there is an invisible red thread connecting those who are destined to meet, regardless of time, place or circumstance. The thread may stretch or tangle, but never break. This is our red thread journey as we make a lifetime commitment through adoption from China. Other April gals (and a few WPB families too). Posted by...
